LESSONS LEARNT
I learned the importance of balancing usability with novelty. Iterating on user onboarding and simplifying the matchmaking flow helped clarify this process. Surveys and interviews were conducted with a diverse group of individuals to understand their preferences and behaviors regarding online dating and food delivery services. We found that many people are looking for more engaging and interactive ways to connect with potential partners, beyond the traditional swiping and messaging mechanisms. Additionally, there was a strong desire for convenience in ordering food, particularly sweets and treats, which can be shared during social interactions.
